Diablo 4 Tips by U4GM: Anniversary Goblin Farm - jhb66 - 06-04-2026

There's a very simple reason the Anniversary Event feels worth logging in for: goblins are everywhere, and the bonuses stack up fast. From June 2 to June 9, 2026, Diablo 4 players get the March of the Goblins event alongside Mother's Blessing, which means more Treasure Goblins, 35% extra XP, and 50% more gold. If you're trying to stock up on gear, gold, crafting materials, or useful Diablo IV Items, this is one of those weeks where even a short session can feel productive.

Why Goblins Matter During the Event

Treasure Goblins are usually a nice surprise. During the Anniversary Event, they become the main target. Killing them helps push the Goblin Reputation Board forward, and that board is where the limited-time rewards sit. You don't need to overthink it, but you do need to move quickly. Goblins run, they vanish, and if you're stuck clearing random packs while one slips away, you're wasting the best part of the event. Builds with dashes, teleports, movement speed, or strong burst damage feel much better here than slow, setup-heavy builds.

Best Places to Farm Goblins

Infernal Hordes is probably the most reliable place to start. The monster density is high, the pace is quick, and Chaos Waves can create a lot of extra action. If you can use the Total Chaos perk, do it. It can lead to more goblin encounters, including Aether Goblins, and those runs can fill the reputation track faster than normal play. Nightmare Dungeons are another strong pick, but you'll want the Treasure Breach affix. When that affix appears, don't save it for later. Run it while the event is active, because the goblin count can be excellent.

Open World Routes That Still Work

Not everyone wants to chain dungeons for hours, and that's fair. Open-world farming can still be good if you keep moving. Nahantu is a strong option if you know the routes and can cover ground fast. Helltides are useful too, since you're already killing dense packs and chasing event rewards. Fields of Hatred can be sneaky good, though you'll have to deal with other players. Fractured Peaks also works for a more relaxed loop. The trick is simple: don't stop for every small pack. Scan, move, tag goblins, kill them fast, then keep going.

Small Tricks That Save Time

Subo is a great Mercenary choice because his tracking helps you spot targets before you'd normally notice them. That sounds minor, but over an hour it adds up. You may also want to turn off Cross-Network Play if your farming spots feel crowded. Less competition means fewer missed goblins. Keep your bags clear before you start, salvage or sell between runs, and don't spend five minutes comparing every drop. During this event, speed matters more than perfect sorting. If your goal is to level, earn gold, complete the board, or even buy Diablo IV Items to round out a build, make the most of this short window while the goblins are still flooding Sanctuary.
