So I've had my Levante for about three years now and honestly it's been smooth sailing until this week. There's this intermittent ticking sound coming from the engine bay, especially when I'm idling at traffic lights, and it's driving me crazy because I can't pinpoint where it's coming from. Took it to one of those big multi-brand garages in Al Quoz and they told me it's "probably nothing" but charged me 500 bucks just to look at it, which felt like such a rip-off. I've been reading through some forums and apparently Maserati engines can be finicky with their timing chains and variators, so I don't want to ignore it and end up with a massive bill down the line. I'm considering checking out that 800Sayara place since they seem to specialize in Italian cars, but honestly what I really need is to connect with some fellow owners who know the Maserati mechanics that drivers in Dubai rely on when things start getting weird. Has anyone had similar issues with the V6? I'm in JLT and willing to drive pretty much anywhere in Dubai if the garage actually knows what they're doing with these cars, not just guessing and hoping for the best.
