So I'm sitting here in Discovery Gardens absolutely stuck. I was supposed to pick up my kids from school in about an hour and I just went to start my XC60 and it's completely dead. Not even a click. I've had this car for about five years and this is the first time the battery has let me down, which I guess is pretty good going considering the heat we get here, but it couldn't have happened at a worse time. I've got a flat battery, two kids to pick up, and I'm literally stranded in the parking lot with no one around to give me a jump. I tried calling a few friends but everyone's at work and can't come help. I started frantically searching on my phone for mobile battery services because I really don't have the time to get a tow truck involved or figure out how to get to a garage. I've seen a few ads for companies that come to you and replace the battery on the spot, which sounds like exactly what I need right now, but I'm a bit skeptical about the quality of batteries they use and whether they'll have the right one for a Volvo. I know these cars need a specific type of battery and I've heard that if you don't use the right one, it can mess with all the electronics and sensors. I'm looking for something like affordable Volvo car battery delivery in Discovery Gardens because I need someone to come to me, get it done quickly, and not charge me a fortune just because I'm in a desperate situation.
