An oud perfume is built around the deep, complex character of oud, which is associated with resinous agarwood. Depending on the composition, it can feature woody, smoky, earthy, warm, leathery, or subtly sweet guys. Oud is often combined with amber, musk, rose, saffron, or sandalwood to create different fragrance styles. Modern oud perfumes may use natural oud, oud-inspired accords, or a combination of both.
